Imola, I think quite possibly you are a natural-born poet. This was lovely, a delight to read.

awww. Thank you my friend. For years my poetry teacher tried to convince me to embrace the word "poet" and I never felt quite worthy of it. I still don't. I call myself a writer. But I do love writing poetry.

Poets ARE writers, Imola! And prose writers can be poets, too. Different skills but still playing with words and messages all the same.

This is EXACTLY my thought!! Which is why I love the general word “writer” because it comes from the verb “write” which is what all writers, poets and playwrights do! :) again, what a shocker that we think alike!

I would have to agree.

Thank you for this poem, for choosing to continue listening to the podcast, allowing your heart to open- and sharing it. It’s a never ending journey of discovery about the ways of love, and so interesting! It’s also a choice to accept and forgive and love, others as well as ourselves. Within ourselves is a never ending reservoir of love, if we choose to be generous with it. ❤️

It is complex, but it needs to be amplified. We need to say no with love, to say yes with love, to let go with love, to tend to our blindspots in life with love, to soften our hearts to the source, be humble, be human.

Be humble, be human. I love that Corie!

Some kindness because love is a big word. Beautiful!

This makes me think...

Some acceptance because true forgiveness is truly hard.

Thank you. ❤️

I hear you Danni. Acceptance can be very liberating when true forgiveness is not yet possible. It takes a lot of softening...

And you, too, Danni. I would love to have you at my poetry workshop on 1/22/25 at 6 pm ET. It is free. It is about the heart, with the heart, and gosh, I can feel your heart through your words. https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYsdu2trjIqE9DZM89lFvOQKTMITvbrl9i0
