So glad I happened upon this earlier post & bookmarking to save; so much goodness here! Morning pages already a practice but Iād love to try the shakti meditation.š
I just did the shakti meditation and found it so healing and powerful, that mantraāI needed it, I am so often feeling powerless against this acute pain and slow healing process with my low back injury (which is originating in the sacrum), and it was good to be reminded with your gentle meditation that I have the power to heal. Thank you Imola for your light and love in the world.š
All great practices! Iām inspired to add morning pages - itās been a pretty long break from journalling since my babies have been coming and Iāve been writing for work. Thank you š§” NIKKO
I hear you Nikko! When my daughters were babies/toddlers I locked myself in the bathroom to write my morning pages⦠:) glad you have found this helpful. The most important aspect is I think the community part.
Agree! It took years to build the community I have now, and I credit this aspect entirely for how well I am doing now with 4 kids compared with alone with one and two kids. My resilience steps are here but you list inspires me to expand a bit more on the ideas: https://www.brighterdaysdarkernights.com/p/daily-rituals-for-a-more-resilient
Your first practice of sacred coffee is what Iām missing most. Iām in such a rush I gulp down my coffee as I drive. Thank you for this and all your tips!
Happy if it helps. The secret with yoga is just do what you can, when you can. I am now on my 241 day streak with yoga. That means yoga everyday. Most days 20-30 minutes, but some days only 5min (and no guilt!). I never practice for more than 30 min, unless Iām teaching a class :) the practices I outlined here are short, easy and make all the difference in my life!
